 “Cinema Verite,” is a clever, beautifully made but somehow underwhelming re-enactment of the breakup of the Loud marriage, on camera and off. This is a made-for-television biography of a family, not a movie about television or even a look at how television changed one family in the time of Nixon, Vietnam and “All in the Family.” Most of the action takes place off camera and before the series was shown to the public; television is the MacGuffin that brings strangers together and tears one couple apart.
