Here is the ninth cartoon from the series of wonderful animated films based on the books of Beatrix Potter – the touching Christmas story of "The Tailor of Gloucester” who fell ill and was unable to complete the waistcoat commissioned by the mayor for his wedding on Christmas, but upon returning to his shop he was surprised to find the waistcoat finished – the work had been done by grateful mice saved by the tailor from his cat Simpkin.
As a bonus I have enclosed in the archive a pdf-file with lyrics of all the songs from this cartoon: the Christmas carol, the song of the mice at work, the angel song and the drinking-songs overheard by Simpkin cat as he walked along the night street.
